In addition to “Publish Your Own Pizza”, our professional chef made sure to create eight delicious pizzas inspired by newspapers from around the country, including “The Times”, “The Tribune”, and “The Chronicle”. He also made sure we were in tune with current market trends, such as the use of fresh and nutritious ingredients in a fast, build-your-own environment. The result is a unique and newsworthy spin on one of America’s most popular foods.

Well it was a great night but a sad night at Pizza Press Pasadena on Sunday.  Our final trivia night concluded with lots of handshakes and heartfelt mutual admiration all around.  In the end it was newcomers Ship of Fools who took the final first flag.  Perennial favorites Moose and Squirrel snagged second place as well as the drinking round, and it was Knights of the Trivia Table that came third.

All things considered, trivia at Pizza Press has been a delight.  The staff was always friendly and helpful, the pizza was delicious, but most importantly, the players were incredible.  I had the privilege and the fortune to have met and shared many nights with some of Pasadena's most interesting and kind people.  Each team brought with them a unique perspective and sense of humor to the game that I will not soon forget, and so I say thank you.  I hope to see all of you again soon!

As the days are winding down at Pizza Press Pasadena, the competitors get that much fiercer.  Cameron from Sunday Night Trivia took the first place trophy all by himself.  Average Joes were exceptionally close behind him all night, taking second by only three points difference.  And Five Nights at Freddie Krueger's were only just behind them.  Hopefully next week - our last week - will end on a very serious bang!

Nine loyal and dedicated teams turned out to trivia their hearts out at Pizza Press Pasadena on Monday night.  It was Garlic Starburst that shot ahead with a clutch double down in round 6, with Dog Park 5 and the aptly named 3rd Place right behind them.  I do love when 3rd place gets third place, it is hilariously fitting.  Sunday Night Trivia swooped the drinking round and I even saw one person eating their root beer float before their pizza.  It was fun all around!
