We had such a PACKED HOUSE on Wednesday. It was awesome and quite an interesting game.
No one doubled the first round, but Gazpacho and Brother and Guests doubled the 2nd, bringing them into the leads. Then Brother and Guests furthered their lead by doubling the 3rd round, along with 9/8 Central.
However, they lost their lead in round 4 by getting a -1. In an interesting turn of events, every team turned it in on the 8 point clue, with some getting it on 8 or receiving a -1.
No one doubled round 5 except for 9/8 Central, who then jumped up ahead of Gazpacho. There were 9 doubles in round 6.
Round 7 saw a double by Ketchup and Gazpacho, who secured their 1st place lead. 9/8 Central came in 2nd and Brother and Guests came in 3rd.
In honor of our bartender, Farid's birthday, for the drinking round teams had to guess what year Happy Birthday was written. The appropriately-named Happy Birthday Farid actually won that round.
