The only virus that was spread at Mikkeller DTLA on Tuesday night was the King Trivia virus. 13 teams were infected and only craft beer, food, and knowledge was the cure. Regulators Mount Up took the lead early but I Drink & I Know Things ended up with the championship, by only one point. Regulators Mount Up took home two 4-packs of tasty craft beer as the runner-up antidote. Menace II Sobriety ended up in third. The beer round went to the dynamic pair from Johny's Always Right. The virus is spreading, come get cured at Mikkeller DTLA next Tuesday.

Shout out to the peeps @ Mikkeller DTLA for being kind to me as I guest hosted this week, y'all are a great group and it was lovely getting to know you.

Drunk In Public and Menace II Sobriety started out strong with 7 points each in the General Knowledge Round 1, but Menace II Sobriety took a one point lead in the Stephen King Movie themed Picture Round 2. It didn't take long for Drunk In Public to catch up, though, as both teams were tied after the Japanese themed Round 3. Menace II Sobriety, Team Jeff, and Bed Bath & Beyonc? were the first to correctly guess Jon Favreau in the Guess Who Round 4, putting Menace back in the lead, but Bed Bath & Beyonc?'s musical knowledge put them in a come from behind lead with 36 points, putting them a full four points ahead of the three teams (Drunk In Public, Team Jeff, and Menace II Sobriety) tied for second. Menace II Sobriety managed to pull into a tie for first after spittin' straight knowledge when it comes to the Great Plains States in Round 7, but the tie breaker (What is the elevation of Las Vegas, Nevada?) went to Menace II Sobriety, who took the ultimate victory over Tuesday Night Trivia @ Mikkeller.

The Iowa Caucus may have been undecided but we were able to claim a winner for King Trivia at Mikkeller in DTLA this past Tuesday. 8 candidates received votes but only 3 walked out knowing they had what it takes. SoFa King Good made a late surge in the polls (getting a perfect score in round 6 and doubling down in round 7), due to 75% of their team working in entertainment, and ended up edging out Regulators Mount Up to claim a King Trivia victory. SoFa King Good also won the beer round with their perfect score in round 6. Hot in pursuit was Bacon on the Side who polled well throughout and ended up exactly where they started - in third place. The State of the Union at King Trivia went off without anyone ripping up their quizbooks. There were also no chants of "4-more years" but their were plenty of chants for "King Trivia Next Tuesday". The votes are in and we'll be back next Tuesday at Mikkeller DTLA for King Trivia - we hope to see you there.
