About Paragon

Allen Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant, nightclub and bar business. Allen cut his teeth managing the The Shark Club in downtown LA. While working at the Shark Club, Allen learned the importance of treating customers in such a way that garnered incredible loyalty and a multitude of return clientele. Allen moved on to be the bar manager of the Seafood Broiler and Milano’s Italian kitchen. Allen always strived to create a personable environment where the customer would feel comfortable and want to be a part of. He always puts the customer’s needs first and foremost. Allen decided after years of being in the business to venture out and open the Paragon Bar and Grill. Along with partner “CJ” Willis, their goal was to create a place in Northridge that would give the feel of going to Hollywood or Downtown, without the long drive or potential pretentiousness.

Everything we do here at Paragon Bar and Grill is prepared fresh, from our handmade cocktails, to our snacks and all of our food. Our menu was created by executive chef Greg Schroeppel. Greg has worked with Wolfgang Puck and has done a great job putting a menu together for you. Our goal is to provide the best service, drink and food in the Valley.

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight's game was a study in heart-break and "almosts". All told, there were 7 failed doubles, 2 incorrect Guess Whos, and 3 missed opportunities to double.

Peter started the game out strong, successfully doubling in the first round and picking up a perfect score (no double) in round 2. Wind picked up a successful double in round 2, and only Never scored more than a couple points in round 3.

Never and Uh-Ohs made their move in the Guess Who round, getting it right on just the 10-point clue. Both teams followed up with successful doubles in round 5 along with Wind. Peter then dropped behind with failed doubles in rounds 5 and 7, and failed to capitalize on a perfect score in round 6.

So Never took the top spot on their 10-point Guess Who and follow-up double (coupled with strong scores throughout). Wind came in right behind on their doubles in rounds 2 and 5. And, in spite of their failed doubles in the last two rounds, Uh-Ohs managed to take 3rd place with their 10-point Guess Who and follow-up double.
