QUIZ RECAP

Guten Tag and willkommen to Rasselbock! I had the immense honor to kick off the inaugural night of trivia at one of our newest locations, and it was a very fun night for all!

Only one team (Trivia Amigos) knew what was in store tonight, with the rest joining in for a free game with some tepid curiosity. But after the first round everyone was hooked as each question caused a hush to descend upon the restaurant. Even the wait staff were paying attention and whispering answers to each other!

The most fun and ironic round happened during the Deustch-themed word round. I can neither confirm nor deny that some menus were consulted as help during this round...and if they were, I choose to look at it as using their resources wisely.

The Trivia Amigos got off to an early lead with a Double or Nothing in the first round! After that, everyone settled into their places as the fictional sports round stumped a lot of players and Mecca threw everyone for a loop (this was my first time giving clues for a location and not a person!). By far, the most entertaining round went to figuring out the Oscar-winning Marvel actresses, as a lot of shots in the dark were sent in with a lot of pleasant surprises for some teams!

Trivia Amigos kept their lead, with Team Bix surprising themselves at second place and Dumb and Dumber rounding out the Top 3! Each one of them won a Rasselbock gift card to be used during their next visit! Maybe during next week's trivia night...?

You know it's a good, fun night when there are a few good-natured "Screw you"s written down as answers and tonight there were several! Thanks for playing, all, and hope you continue to enjoy trivia at Rasselbock!
