QUIZ RECAP

Nice mix of old and new teams tonight and some clever rounds! The find the connection round stumped all but 1 team and nobody thought pointers and poodles would be among America's favorite dogs. (To be fair, every dog should be a favorite dog). I also like the idea that queen Elizabeth would have had her own Ben & Jerry's flavor. Queen's beans? Royal-tea? Phish food is the best anyway. Dog count tonight: 2.

QUIZ RECAP

Back in the swing of the new year with 8 feisty teams tonight. Loved the energy (and a new dog who was a very good boy or girl).

Everything was going smoothly... Until the Brady Bunch hit in the last round and stumped some of the teams. Scores shifted a bunch in that final round and teams came from behind. 

Also sorry if I made everyone hungry with my spaghetti questions (gave myself a craving, too).

Thought it might be a quiet week but I was proven wrong! Had a great turnout tonight with some regulars and a few new teams. (Also added new music to my playlist so Dancing In the Moonlight stops playing every 20 minutes).

Anyway

Learned about the Chateau Marmont (or marmot as I call it and assume it's a hotel for groundhogs?) and some Denzel Washington trivia - he's only won 2 Oscars?? One team totally nailed the final round AND doubled so they came out kings tonight, just narrowly winning by 4 points.

Looking forward to a new year of King Trivia starting next week (how is it already 2023?) I told my teams I would see them next year because I am very trite. No apologies.
