QUIZ RECAP
Despite what at first seemed like a quiet night, Big Mood and Manafort's Lawyers did everything in their power to make it anything but. Despite the lack of a single double down, the scores remained within three points of each other the entire night!
During the guess who round, both teams correctly guessed musician, actress, and Chad Michaels impersonator Cher as the answer on the eight-point clue. No need to turn back time.
The drinking round was a tense and dramatic game of Jenga that just kept going. After what could have been months, Big Mood made a big error and caused the tall tower to collapse, giving Manafort's Lawyers a well-earned victory.
At night's end, Big Mood came off with the big win by only two points. It was a great evening for both teams. Hope to see more next week!

QUIZ RECAP
Tonight was my first night of regularly hosting trivia here at Oaks Tavern and the smaller crowd didn't stop it from being a thrilling evening of quizzing.
The night's only successful double or nothing was awarded to Awesome Sauced with a perfect round five!
Tonight's drinking round was a game of "crowd favorite" higher or lower. Coming out on high and able to sing "We Are The Champions" was Freddie Mercury Retrograde.
By the night's end, Awesome Sauced took home the top prize but the other teams gave them a good fight.

This week at The Oaks in Sherman Oaks, one of our teams asked a very good question: Is There a Queen Trivia? Indeed there is, but she is very shy, so we don't talk about her much. She's Like Kim Kardashian, but smart. Really, really smart. But more to the point, we here at King Trivia view all who partake of the quiz as kings and queens, and we endeavor to treat you like royalty!
Speaking of good questions, I am often asked where quiz fans can go that's not quite so crowded. Now it is certainly true that King Trivia quiz events are often very, very crowded, and can be a bit intimidating, especially for newcomers. If that's you, The Oaks in Sherman Oaks on Monday nights may represent a rare (and temporary) opportunity.
Following close on the heels of their popular Sunday and Wednesday quiz nights, The Oaks added a new Monday night show just a few weeks ago. This is a GREAT venue with a welcoming ambience, stylish decor, comfortable booths and great prizes. Word will certainly soon spread about this terrific new location. If ya wanna bea the crowds, you need to check it out soon.
