Goose the dog (and leader of Team Year of the Ratatouille Starring Remy As Patton Oswalt) lived up to his name and goosed the QM repeatedly this evening. It was consensual.
Goose's team jumped into an early lead with two rounds of perfect scores, doubled. They kept answering questions correctly and kept their lead all night. Even though Team Tokyo Banana had perfect and near-perfect rounds, they had to settle for second place. As trivia vets, they knew they'd prevail next time and were all smiles.
Team Listen to the Flipside Podcast thought I was kidding when I said they came in third but quickly accepted their surprise success and began to discuss how to spend their $10 in winnings. Team Airport Penguin missed placing in the top three by a single point. Our only solo team this evening, she swore to return for vengeance.
