In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.

Hell of a day at Angel City! Y'all are smart. I love it when brilliant teams play together, keeps me on my toes!

Everyone played well today, but It's a Water Fountain, Brett was fairly relentless but successfully doubling down in round 1 and never letting up (despite a slight misstep in round 4). While they took a solid win, they had plenty of competition.

Goofus struggled at bit in the beginning, even declining to answer the Guess Who round. However, a solid double in round 6 gave them a late game push into the top 2.

What made it difficult for me, as a quizmaster, was 9 OUT OF 10 TEAMS DOUBLING IN THE FINAL ROUND.

Eight of you did so successfully (sorry Dia Despues Dia De Los Muertos, that cost you your place in the winner's circle) and George Michael Meyers last minute check-in gave them just the little extra "umph" they needed to secure that bronze.
