In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
We had a great Trivia Tuesday at Angel City! Fun fact - Today is National Hot Chocolate Day! Hot Chocolate was used for medicinal purposes until the late 1800s, so for our drinking round we asked what year the benefits of hot chocolate was published in a medical journal. The answer is 1631 and Angelitos had the closest guess (1650), winning their team a round of drinks!
After some very exciting double or nothings in the final three rounds, Mom's Spaghetti came in in 3rd place with 61 points, Angelitos came in 2nd place with 72 points, and Jesus loves winners came in first place with 77 points!
