In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
It was a special night indeed at ACB, as we celebrated the Ping Pong Champs' spectacular showing at the Tournament of Champions, taking home the third-place trophy from among many hundreds of competing teams.
They marked that win with a stunning 94-point game tonight, but even that wasn't enough to claim victory, so strong is the Angel City competition here. First place was taken by Los Latecomers, a new team that I'm told has never even competed together before. They finished the night with an awestriking 100 points, just 10 shy of the fabled Perfect Game.
