In a city known more for its glitz than its grit, Angel City Brewery is proud to rough things up a bit and work beneath the shiny surface. Our home in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city's artists, musicians, hustlers, and craftspeople. It's an LA that's as ambitious as it is diverse & and our beer is no exception.
Tonight was a night of Trivia for the books! Thing were humming along as usual for a while, with the 1927 Ping Pong Champs in their usual lead. They picked up only two points in the Guess Who round but held on to a narrow margin... until everything came crashing down in Round 5.
In a niche question about the subcategories of Darts games, the Champs missed the bullseye and failed a costly 10-point double or nothing, dropping them into fifth place.
But it takes more than that to unseat them, and they resecured their lead in round 6, as the only team to double down that round.
All that was left to do was defend it in Round 7 with their bison knowledge, and they picked up their nineteenth gold medal in a row, closing out a night of exceptionally low-scoring Angel City Brewery Trivia.
