QUIZ RECAP

Another lovely homecoming tonight as four of our most regular teams converged to celebrate the end of summer - and also to make off with some nifty Barney's gift cards. Two new contenders struggled to rub elbows with these Beanery greats but alas they came up a little too short (and chose to keep their pens as souvenirs - Aussies, man). With all the hubbub over Sony and Disney squaring off about Spider-Man, we kicked it back to 2002 with a true or false round all about the first movie and the tangled web it wove. Did you know Willem Dafoe did 90% of his own stunts? TRUE. Did you know James Franco and Tobey Maguire have a longstanding feud over Franco jokingly referring to Maguire as having "frog-life features" in an interview? TRUE. Did you know Mel Gibson was offered the role of Norman Osborn but declined? TRUE (I guess he found out Spidey is a Jew...)
