What a blowout! the Sportsball teams were in full force and their fans had to split attention between their game, and the much more important drama unfolding on the boards of Barney's Beanery in westwood. Teams attacked their quarry with an unholy fury, but the onslaught was not necessarily reflected in points. Teams fought hard, though for every piece, and as the points began to add up, so too, did the fervor. Hilariously, many teams repeatedly tried for doubles, flying in the face of prudence, general aptitude, and round-by-round trends. They were, however, undeterred and occasionally landed some high-value doubles. Such techniques were no match, though, for the steady racking of points perpetrated by Who's The Groomsman, We Fake, and April 17, 2017, who climbed steadily to the top.
