It was quieter than usual in Boondocks tonight. We missed our Knobheads, Hop On My Jetskis, and Team Lit tremendously. However, this didn't bother our two competing teams, who were happy to be guaranteed to go home with something no matter how great (or how poorly) they did on tonight's questions!
Bartop had a double-down fail on their colorful bands early on, giving King Trivia virgins The Taco Team a small lead for a few rounds. But as Bartop knew just a smidge more about Graceland, their fishy connections, and Shakespeare, they were able to pull back into first place by the end of the game without the assistance of any other double downs.
Daisy from The Taco Team got a free long island iced tea on the Quizmaster's tab for being the ultimate musical chairs champion! That, on top of a $20 gift certificate for coming in second place, The Taco Team did not do too shabby at all for their first King Trivia game. Good for you guys!
