QUIZ RECAP

This was an interesting game, with lot's of ups and downs. For the General Knowledge Round, many of the teams missed only one or two questions. In Round 2, I See Dead People tried to double but failed because the mistook the design on the "Aladdin" playbill for Lumiere from "Beauty and the Beast." Golden Gurlz had taken the lead, but were closely followed by the team that's #8 in league play, Boner Thugz N' Harmony along with The Shining Wits.

We celebrated Labor Day in Round 3, and half of the teams also got to celebrate getting five points! Golden Gurlz lost their lead during the Guess Who Round when Flying Solo and SCV Diablos correctly answered "Michael Douglas" after the ten point clue. Flying Solo was the new leader, with SCV Diablos and Golden Gurlz tied for second. Both Golden Gurlz and Boner Thugz N' Harmony got a perfect score for Round 5, but didn't double. In a game like this, those missed opportunities can hurt a lot!

Round 6 saw another missed opportunity to double, this time by I See Dead People. SCV Diablos, however was confident in his answers and successfully doubled, giving him a ten point lead with only one round left! This time Flying Solo got a perfect score but didn't double, keeping them in second place instead of first.

SCV Diablos got to take home the top prize both because of his trivia knowledge and strategic play. Flying Solo and Golden Gurlz would take second and third, and be left to think about a couple key mistakes that kept them out of first.
