About Brewyard Beer Company

Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

I love how chill and intimate the setting was at Brewyard Beer Company. The best thing about a space like this is that it gives us Quizmasters room to showcase our awesome players and their secret talents--like being really good at impressions.

Tonight for our drinking round, I asked every single team to bring up a representative with an SNL character written on a sheet of paper. They were then instructed to do an impersonation of that character--whichever team guessed all of them won the drinking round. Needless to say, we had a lot of really great laughs and I was pleasantly surprised with the level of skill our players had--probably one of the most solid Stefan impressions I have ever seen.

Also, apologies for You're My Boy Brew! for making it rain drink tickets--good sight gag, but not so good for your expensive khakis to be kneeling on the ground.

As always, our hosting bar was amazing--big thanks to Big Mike and Dre in FOH, Sherwin in BOH, and Alpaca Filipino Food Truck for my meal and Coke.
