Elysian-Tangletown opened in 2003 in the south Greenlake area of Seattle. With only 80 seats, Tangletown offers an intimate, neighborhood brewery/bistro experience and feels reminiscent of European cafes. Experimental, festival and one-off specialty beers are brewed on site, some of which make it into general production and provide an exciting array of new (and favorite old) beers. The Avatar Jasmine IPA was first brewed here.
Always a fun time at Elysian Tangletown for trivia night! We had 5 exciting teams show up to play, which unfortunately turned into just 4 teams, after Team Bananahammock bounced a few rounds too early.. (booo!) The Hard Bodies won a second round double-or-nothing and ran away with the lead.. until the end (dun dun dun!) The Sixth Element swooped from second place with a final round double-or-nothing to secure the victory with 64 points! The Hard Bodies remained close behind with 58 points, and Ruthless et. al. came in 3rd with 39, great game tonight everyone!
