Elysian-Tangletown opened in 2003 in the south Greenlake area of Seattle. With only 80 seats, Tangletown offers an intimate, neighborhood brewery/bistro experience and feels reminiscent of European cafes. Experimental, festival and one-off specialty beers are brewed on site, some of which make it into general production and provide an exciting array of new (and favorite old) beers. The Avatar Jasmine IPA was first brewed here.
It was a wonderful night at Elysian Tangletown as the trivia, food, and beer were all on point. At 7:30 this is certainly the place to be, and the trivia players certainly let that be known through their enthusiasm.
In the end it was 100 Beers of Solitude that was able to take the first price, winning by a mere two points finishing with 57. In second, by a tie breaker, was Unstable Morons who crossed the finish line with 55. Finally on our leaderboard was We've Got Yuge Buttons, who were able to finish the regular season tied for second, but lost in a playoff round to fall to third.
