Elysian-Tangletown opened in 2003 in the south Greenlake area of Seattle. With only 80 seats, Tangletown offers an intimate, neighborhood brewery/bistro experience and feels reminiscent of European cafes. Experimental, festival and one-off specialty beers are brewed on site, some of which make it into general production and provide an exciting array of new (and favorite old) beers. The Avatar Jasmine IPA was first brewed here.
Returning team Slide, Stone & Sweep came out guns-a-blazin' tonight, blowing everyone out of the water with a Round 1 double-or-nothing AND 2-point registration bonus! As I mention to all teams every show, "don't get discouraged, because anything can happen in the following rounds," and that's exactly what happened. Slide, Stone & Sweep maintained their lead all the way to the 6th round, until the Super OG's came out from second place with a whopping 20-point double-or-nothing, taking the lead into the final round of the night. Both teams scored the same amount of points in Round 7, but that Round 6 double-or-nothing gave the OG's just enough of an edge to win the game with 63 points! Great competition and sportsmanship from everyone tonight!!
