Elysian-Tangletown opened in 2003 in the south Greenlake area of Seattle. With only 80 seats, Tangletown offers an intimate, neighborhood brewery/bistro experience and feels reminiscent of European cafes. Experimental, festival and one-off specialty beers are brewed on site, some of which make it into general production and provide an exciting array of new (and favorite old) beers. The Avatar Jasmine IPA was first brewed here.
Those double-or-nothing's really do make all the difference!! The Potent Potables led everyone through 4, but then 3 consecutive unsuccessful double-or-nothing's took them out of the running, all while 2 Kids in a Trench Coat (originally in the bottom 4), simultaneously scored 2 SUCCESSFUL back-to-back double-or-nothing's to blow the roof off this bar with 63 points! Coming in 2nd and 3rd, by only a one-point differential, Viva La Fraud Exception and The Sloths!
