The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
We KNEW it was gonna be tight at the end. Going into the final round, Tyrannosaurus Cox-Nights, The Wet Bandits and Hot Dawg were neck-and-neck-and-neck with scores of 62/61/60, with Don't Thank Music? close on their heels with 57!
When the dust settled, the T-Rex Crew and the Wet Bandits were locked up tight with identical scores of 67! A tie-breaker settled the matter, but it was a heart-breaker for Don't Thank Music?, who outperformed the scoreboard leaders on the final round but still ended up just one point shy of winning a gift certificate!
Man! That's gotta hurt! But that's what makes for a great trivia quiz, out on the Golden Road patio on a near perfect southern California mid-winter's night. (It was the kind of night that makes people in other - colder - parts of the country both hate and envy us! We like that!!)
