The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
Even on a chilly night - or maybe especially on a chilly night - the side yard at Golden Road Brewery is definitely a warm and cozy place to engage in a little heated trivia battle.
And it was a heated battle, indeed as out top three teams finished with stair-step scores of 83, 82 and 81 points. The top slot went to Checked Out, who checked in with an excellent performance, followed by Wakanda Fool am I? whose Black Panther reference in their team name was subtle and much appreciated.
Speaking of much appreciated team names, our third place team - Lego Meth Lab - got the biggest laugh of the night with their moniker. Well done, friends!
With competition like this, you know the Golden Road Tuesday night show attracts some top-drawer quizzers. So ya gotta feel at least a little sympathy for our fourth place finishers, Heiroglyphic Buttjam (aka #squadgoals), who got within arms reach of the winner's circle, but just couldn't quite squeak in.
