The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
It almost goes without saying that King Trivia quizinators are a unique and wonderful bunch of bananas. I mean, they're generally smarter than most people. They are, without a doubt, better looking than most people. And - in an odd and not-well-understood phenomenon that we're currently researching - they smell better than most people. In fact, the only people who are smarter, better looking and better smelling than KT quizinators are KT quizmasters - but I digress.
One sure indicator of the overall perspicacity of our beloved fanbase is how an item in the news early in the day will show up in a team's name later than evening. (Another indicator might be that they know the definition of words like "perspicacity." But again - I digress.)
My point is that our people are culturally aware and stand ever-ready to skewer the latest doings of the wealthy and powerful. Did I say "stand ready?" Actually, it's more like "eager." Yup. You know it's true! You people are downright eager to make fun of anyone and anything of note in the news. And we applaud you for it! That's just one of the many, many things we love about you!
So it was with much glee and delight that we enjoyed last night's contribution to our growing list of excellent pop-culture-referencing team names: "Legitimate USC Sports Recruits."
