The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
How's this for a success story? Golden Toad emerged triumphant at Golden Road Brewery this week with a winning effort that afforded them THIRD PLACE honors, after finishing in the middle of the pack just one week ago! How'd they do it? They brought in a couple of additional, big-brained team members, that's how! (And you could do that too! Quick, start scanning your list of friends for the ones with the big brains!)
But that's not the only example of scoreboard jumping going on this week. After a 5th place finish last week, Perfect Strangers dug deep and elevated themselves into the #2 spot. And last week's #3 - Dung on the Stubble - became this week's #1 with a fine, 79-point performance.
Honorable mention, and a tip-of-the hat, goes out to The Los Feliz Boy's Choir and Pennywise, Pound Foolish for their excellent 75-poin performances that left them just one point shy of the winner's circle! Take heart, my friends. As recent scoreboards clearly demonstrate, going from fourth to first can happen at any time! You can do it! Yes you can!!
