The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
Wowzah! What a big, raucous night we had this week at Golden Road Brewery in Glendale. Not only was the side yard patio chock-a-block full of trivia quiz enthusiasts, but an unusually large number of brand new teams were playing for the first time ever!
It was a delight to meet you all. We were impressed by your trivia knowledge and prowess, and look forward to seeing these new team names atop our winners list in the weeks and months to come.
Speaking of our winners list, we applaud Dinosaurs and Sluts for their strong 80-point wining performance last night. They edged out Quitty Quitty Yang Yang to win by a single point! (Special kudos to QQYY for a very clever, of-the-moment team name. Mr. Yang will send you your $1,000 right after he sends me mine!)
Chicken Poodle Soup had the right recipe for success, and rounded out our top three finishers this week.
Landing a bit lower on the scoresheet was Mike Pence None The Richer, who attempted a bold double-or-nothing move in Round 7, which would have put them in first place (for the third week in a row) had it been successful. No guts, no glory, right guys!? (don't worry...Amy will forgive you in time. Or not.)
