Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. We had quite the even start to the game, with no real front runners until we hit round 5, when 2 teams successfully Doubled their points... Then again when 4 teams Doubled their points, opening the point gap. But it all came down to the final round, where Go Cougs! barely inched out first place over Team Plutonium, with Daddy following closely behind in 3rd. And congrats to our winner of the Drinking Round Challenge who accurately guessed all the wild animal noises we played -- always a fun one!
