Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. We had another fun night of random bonus points, and you guys had a fun time playing along! From singing the O'Reilly Auto Parts theme song, to dancing, to giving me your best accent impressions... many extra points were had all around!

But I think my favorite part of the night was when a team walked into the bar midway through trivia and wanted to join the game. "Of course," I said, "c'mon in!" But first we had to do our Drinking Round Challenge (where one team wins a pitcher of beer) and this week it was Name That Tune... Kidz Bop edition, back by popular(?) request! Normally teams like RIP Bill Paxton or Daddy would own this round, but surprisingly it was our new team (Newcomers!) who came out the victor! Congrats team! And I'm glad you won, as you struggled the rest of trivia - only got 4 points - and consistently tried to wage an additional 100pts that you didn't have -- ah, twas fun and we were happy to have you liven up the game!
