About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Another bustling night at the Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom for trivia, with 50% of the teams playing out back. Scores started out steady for the first couple rounds, but it was the surprisingly hard 5th Round which allwed some heavy hitters to rise to the top. Quizmaster Yael was particularly generous tonight, especially in the 6th round, ensuring every team had the chance to snag a top spot.

Online Therapy is for Everyone earned a bonus point for their team name, while Oscar the Dog bowed out before the final round. As the game came to an end, Hey Mommy! returned to reign in first place, followed by newbies Team Name TBD in second and The Chixie Dicks rounding out the trio.
