About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Celebrate the middle of the week with King Trivia at Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom! Eleven teams turned up this week to test their knowledge on alliterative names, world's happiest countries, and Alicias AND keys, all for a chance to win gift cards at Hop Merchants for discounts on brews and merch! Real Geniuses lived up to their name with a third place win at an impressive 58 points, scoring a $5 gift card, while team Did Cory Pee? Depends made out with a second place victory at 65 points for a $10 gift card (the jury is still out on whether Cory did the deed). But with a jaw-dropping 88 points with several successful Double or Nothings, team They're Tariffing the Dogs, They're Tariffing the Penguins! ran away with a first place lead, nabbing a $20 gift card for their smarts. Congrats to all of our teams--and a HUGE thanks to all the players at Hop Merchants that made it an unforgettable night! We're back next Wednesday at 8PM for more King Trivia, so grab your friends, grab some beers, and join us for a battle of the brains!
