About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

King Trivia had a great time at Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom last night as six teams went brains-to-brains over our friendly competition! Teams flexed their knowledge of Broadway musical composers, horror movies, and World Cup winners over seven rounds of trivia for a battle to win gift cards at Hop Merchants. All winning teams showed us the power of a successful Double or Nothing: The Movie Club landed in third place with one successful Double or Nothing and won a $5 gift card; the one-man team Thatchary Binx scored 62 points after two successful Double-or-Nothings, winning a $10 gift card; and with THREE successful D&N's, Gary's Shoes & Accessories for Today's Woman were crowned our first place champions with a whopping 73 points, taking home the $20 gift card grand prize! Congrats to all our winners--and a HUGE thank you to everyone who turned up for King Trivia! We're back at Hop Merchants next Wednesday at 8PM, so reach out to your besties and get our next game on your calendar!
