What a blast subbing at Liberation Brewing! The venue is great, the drinks are great, but most of all the people are great. There were some tough questions, but it turned out to be no match for the trivia super heroes at Liberation!

Right away Team Matt heroically rose to first place, fighting off even the toughest of trivia questions. Team Matt was invincible, successfully doing three rounds in a row of double or nothing! They managed to keep this lead the whole night and Team Matt walked away with 1st prize. In the super hero analogy, Team Matt was definitely Superman with infinite powers covering every category.

The battle for second place turned out to be much more eventful. For a long time my money was on Team Late Bloomers. In the superhero analogy let's make them Batman. Like Batman, they were initially very hesitant about playing, but eventually they came around, joined the battle, and remained in second place for most of the night. It turned out that their main competitor was Team Agriculture. For the sake of our superhero analogy let's say that Team Agriculture was Aqua-man. They were the quiet underdog that nobody expected, especially with a seemingly innocuous name like Team Agriculture, but then in the final round, Aqua-Man swooped in out of nowhere and punched Batman in the face! In other words Team Agriculture was able to tie with the Late Bloomers for second place. Then in the tie breaker Team Agriculture grabbed second place with their impressive arsenal of Sherlock knowledge. Sorry, better luck next time Batman!
