Emily Spinach proved to be a popular talking point at trivia tonight as players debated over the oddity that is Roosevelt's daughter not only having a pet garter snake (odd to think that one of them might have been slithering along the White House lawn and now one of them sits in the Oval Office!) and also naming it such a very very specific name. Was she a vegetable fan? Did she name her Spinach because she was green? Did she hate vegetables and thus loathe her pet? So many questions, no good answers.

Our players had pretty significant luck throughout the rest of the evening though, blowing past the Double or Nothing Round with mostly flying colors. Some teams held off on doubling because they weren't aware that black boxes were actually orange (don't sweat it, I didn't know that either) and as we careened into the final round, things didn't get any better for anyone without a few extra points to spare. Tell me, in what world does Crazy Stupid Love not crack a Steve Carrell Top 10? You've got Emma Stone at the height of her popularity, a shirtless and ab-filled Ryan Gosling, Steve Carrell in Dad shoes and a Dirty Dancing moment! Come on, people. But no, clearly everyone paid their hard earned money to go see Over the Hedge. We need to do better, America. This is why we have Emily Spinach in charge.
