Doubling down is usually the way to victory... just not this Tuesday at Mikkeller DTLA. Only six teams were able to make it to Mikkeller the day after a three day weekend and not a single team attempted a double-down. The trivia battle was tight throughout. There was a three-way tie for 4th place and third place was two points ahead. Everyone learned plenty of Valyrian phrases thanks to "Shouts in Valyrian" who took third place. Second place was corralled by Directors of Reality (comprised of a Brit, an Aussie, and an American). This week's champion was a team of one, Philly Angelenos, who only needed a single point to separate himself from the pack. It's amazing how much useless knowledge that you gain while attending MIT and Duke. Can't wait to see y'all next Tuesday at 7:30pm for some great brews and even better trivia brouhaha.
