You get a Double or Nothing! You get a Double or Nothing! Everybody gets a Double or Nothing!!

Despite the lack of an actual guest appearance by Oprah, this week's round of trivia was very exciting since all four teams benefitted from the ever-risky Double or Nothing at least once...with some getting two rounds of double points!

The four teams jockeyed back and forth across several rounds, with Team Venture getting off to a strong start by doubling their first round points! Everyone remained even until some of the teams sank while Our Drinking Team Has a Trivia Problem swam in the pool-themed round. Not to be outdone, both Pretty Tight, Huh? and We're Not Gay, But $20 is $20 (the house team once again showing ingenuity in their choice of name) doubled it up in the final round, crushing the other teams with their sports knowledge. (Shout out to my alma mater which won the NCAA Division I National Championship in both 2003 and 2004: USC! Fight On!...and yes, I did have to look that up...)

But it was all for naught as Our Drinking Team Has a Trivia Problem reclaimed the top spot with Pretty Tight, Huh? and Team Venture rounding out the Top 3. And for the first time since I've started at Network Brewery, the house team didn't place so everyone was a legitimate placer this time! To celebrate, they gave out pint glasses to everyone in the bar!

Congrats, everybody! And just remember: without looking ahead of time, I was the only one who knew that it was Buffy Summers before the 4-point round...so I'm the real winner.
