QUIZ RECAP

It was a sad night for trivia as well had just watched the Dodgers lose game 5 of the World Series just before the game started, but Quizmaster Danny did all he could to help cheer the crowd back up and forget about the loss. Trivia-goers answered questions about bands with numbers in their names, monsters, the TV show M*A*S*H*, Michael B. Jordan, world religions, and quotes from horror movies.

For the Drinking Round, we had a simple head to head dice roll between a player from each team. For each round two or three players would roll two dice to see which team got the highest number. The one with the highest number would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots for anyone drinking on their team. It came down to team Trader Joe's Hoes, donning new team shirts by the way, and team Ceviche. Ceviche rolled first and got an 11, and then Trader Joe's Hoes rolled and only got 4. So Team Ceviche won the round of shots for their players! Not too shabby for a few dice rolls!

Speaking of our Trader Joe's Hoes, this game was the first in a while they didn't make the top three! It was shocking as they are usually in the mix, but it was not their night, sadly. 

But for You're Killing Me Smalls, Hanky Panky, and Headscratchers, twas a different story! YKMS scored 43 points, enough to get them the $10 gift certificate 3rd place prize, Hanky Panky took second with 66 points and a $15 gift certificate for them, and Headscratchers killing it and scoring a whopping 73 points to take home the $20 gift certificate! Way to go everyone!
