Home For The Holidays!

Last year, the Quiz before Christmas was packed at Pitfire Pizza, so I made extra handouts just in case. Good thing, as it was standing room only, with many familiar faces back from college! Great to see you all. I would also like to thank the awesome teams of Trivia Newton John for sending my wife and I to the Cheesecake factory for our annniversary, and Del Boca Vista Phase 2 for inviting me into their home for a pre-quiz celebration meal! [Two amazing meals! 🙂 ]

Our Combined IQ Is... was on a mission as they are on their quest to achieve a League Score of 20.000. It was a close race, but they pulled away in the last 3 rounds to take the win and put themselves one win away from 20.000! Ugly Christmas changed their team name every round, but I was too swamped grading to announce all the different names so here they are: 1) Ugly Christmas 2) Drunk Christmas 3) Sweaty Christmas 4) Family Argument Christmas 5) Nightmare Before Christmas 6) Father Christmas Sweater 7) I'm Broke After This Christmas. They were in a very tight battle and ended up in third place by one point under Santa's Big Team At A Little Table.
