About Public School 213

Public School is a chef-driven gastropub serving exclusively craft beer and delivers, “An Education in the Art of Food & Beer.” We use only the freshest quality ingredients, sourced from local Farmer’s Markets whenever possible. The eclectic, seasonal menu includes favorites such as the BBQ Bison Burger, Roasted Poblano with Quinoa and the infamous Bacon Cheddar Tots, which are a must try! “Recess” (aka Happy Hour) is held Monday through Friday (in most locations) and boasts items such as Ahi Tuna Poke, Crispy Naked Wings, and PB&J Sliders. Our bar features a vast selection of seasonal artisanal cocktails and sommelier selected wines.

Small but mighty was the crowd at Public School 213 this past Tuesday for King Trivia. With monsoon like conditions rocking the area hours earlier, everyone that was able to make it was dry - just like the humor during the 7 rounds of trivia. Drunk in Public took the lead by one in the first round and managed to hold onto that lead for the rest of the night and ended up the Champion. Bacon on the Side was on their heels the entire night but was not able to overtake them. Not to worry, as Bacon on the Side paddled their way down the very long Nile River and won the all-important beer round (and also ended up with a second place victory). Team Swirl went for broke in the last round but was unsuccessful in their double-down (damn those KC Chiefs) and finished in third. No matter the weather next week (although it's likely that it'll be great), we hope to see you all back at Public School 213 on Tuesday.
