What a night at Rasselbock!

What started as a nice, quiet evening quickly devolved into a bloody gladiator match between the fiercest of competitors. Newbies and veterans clashed on the quiztastic field of battle, each vying for a chance to bring home that gift-card bacon.

Leading the pack early on was veteran team Heroes of Canton. They played cautiously, avoiding any unnecessary risks. This left them open to a sudden coup by TacoCat in the third round, sending the leaderboard into disarray.

The appetizer round came with a much-needed reprieve, allowing our heated competitors to cool off. As it was National Wine Drinking Day, we asked the teams to list every song they knew with Wine in the title. The Philly Rolls managed 5, which was enough to earn them the coveted potato pancakes.

Armed with carbs and a taste of victory, PR led an all out blitz in the next few rounds. Heroes struggled to keep pace, risking it all with a double that set them behind going into Round 6.

Round 6 was a soul-crushing gut check. No team escaped unchanged.

Finally it came to Round 7, but the game had already been decided. As team after team doubled down and jumped by 20 points, this QM saw that the dice had already landed and Lady Fate had selected her top 3. It was all over save the counting of the dead.

Gruesome Twosome returned to the top of the pack, followed by newbies Pretty Pictures and the ever-hungry Philly Rolls.
