Here’s your recap of the trivia night, packed with drama, upsets, and just the right amount of drinking-induced chaos:

Round One: There’s no crying in trivia took the early lead, proving they could indeed keep it together under pressure. The General Knowledge round separated the brainiacs from the people who think “Einstein” is just a bagel company.

Round Three: A Month of Sundays took control after a round where celebrity names were flipped like pancakes. If you didn’t guess that Cruise Tom and Johansson Scarlett were totally real people, better luck next time.

Round Four: Still riding high, A Month of Sundays guessed Charlotte, North Carolina, as the mystery city, while other teams confidently answered “Houston” or “Paris” (y’all, really?).

Round Five: A Month of Sundays crushed the “Find the Connection” round about Palms, proving they know their trees, hands, and casino decor. Meanwhile, Hand Solo felt personally attacked.

Drinking Round: The SmarterPhone challenge put everyone’s motor skills and dignity to the test, but A Month of Sundays took home the win. Whether it was skill, strategy, or just better alcohol tolerance, we may never know.

Round Six: A two-horse race emerged as There’s no crying in trivia and A Month of Sundays tied for first after a sci-fi episode title matching round. If you knew your “Star Trek” from your “Twilight Zone,” you were golden. If not, you were probably still arguing whether “The Trouble With Tribbles” was an Outer Limits episode (it wasn’t).

Round Seven: The same two teams held onto their lead in a round about spices, proving they know their cumin from their cardamom. Somewhere, a cinnamon challenge survivor wept.

Tie-Breaker: The ultimate showdown between There’s no crying in trivia and A Month of Sundays came down to one final question about the Cretaceous Period. There’s no crying in trivia emerged victorious, proving that, much like the dinosaurs, the competition didn’t stand a chance.

MVP of the night? Probably the bartender who kept everyone hydrated between rounds.
