QUIZ RECAP

We had a great array of questions for this pre-Halloween trivia night and it became a fairly close game as we pressed on! Joining us this week were Thiqq Snakes, Moose on the Loose, J Jugs, and Blank.

Our first few rounds had the team's scores all over the board! But Moose on the Loose held in first place just a few points above Thiqq Snakes and Blank.

Unfortunately though by round 3 Blank had decided to drop out of the game, so we continued the games with just 3 teams!

Round 4 this week through our team's for a loop asking them to identify a man from the very early 1900s! Thiqq Snakes and J Jugs believed our mystery man to be Charlie Chaplin after a clue hinting that he was proficient at pantomiming due to being raised by deaf parents. As we continued through the hints looking for anyone to name the Man of 1,000 Faces he was unfortunately never properly identified as the Lon Chaney! Surely his face is recognizable in his self-applied costume makeups for roles as Quasimodo and the Phantom (of The Phantom of the Opera) but few know him by the name of Lon Chaney!

We continued on to round 5 where teams were asked to find the commonality of all the questions, this week Moose on the Loose as well as Thiqq Snakes were able to see that all of the answers were green items!

Thiqq Snakes had been slowly working their way up to Moose on the Loose on the scoreboards and in an effort to surpass them they used their Double or Nothing in Round 6! Round 6 asked the teams to match the "spooky" song titles to their original artists. Thiqq Snakes got every single answer right and earned themselves 20 total points in this round bringing their score up to 31 points! By this point in the game J Jugs had 21 points total and Moose on the Loose remained in first place, though just a few points up at 33! Only one round left to see who our champion would be!

The final round this week asked our teams to name the 10 events in a decathlon! Thiqq Snakes was so close to earning all 10 points in this round as well but missed just a single question! In the end that would cost them the potential to go head to head with Moose on the Loose for a chance to break the tie! A close match indeed!!

Moose on the Loose finished the game in first place with 41 points total, while Thiqq Snakes trailed immediately behind with 40 points, J Jugs in third with 24 points, and Blank, our long lost team, in fourth with 5 points.
