QUIZ RECAP

It was Pandemonium at Strand Brewing Co. last night! No really it was because.......they won! The top 3 finishers all doubled and nailed it in Rd. 1 so it was just a matter of the order they would all finish. The other 4 teams hung in there and gave it their best for sure. Pussy Posse was with us and was behind by 12 points heading into Rd. 5 thanks to a couple of goose egg rounds. But they doubled correctly and with that 20 points, put themselves right in the thick of it. Gattaca was also right there and with IronMan at their table, (since they won last week), they were determined for the repeat. 2 of our other regulars, The Other Bar Was Full and Uniballers, did not have their best nights but always great to have them with us.

In the end it came down to Gattaca and Pandemonium tied with 50 so we had to go to the tiebreaker. And as I said at the beginning, it was Pandemonium and they got 1st place and the $30 gift cert. Gattaca was way over in their guess but 2nd place is not too shabby along with the $25 cert. Pussy Posse was 3rd but had they beed registered, would have gotten the 2 extra points and would have been a 3 way tie! I keep trying to get them to register, one day they will.
