It's always thrilling to get to learn something about yourself when you (the GM) believe you know everything. Tonight I learned that by regulars I am considered a "speedy host." I start punctually and I keep the rounds moving in a way that is fun and challenging. I am also considered a "hipster host," with most of my drinking round questions being about arthouse movies.
Naturally, I took the chance to slow myself way down and I just had to have my players do their best Werner Herzog impressions for the drinking round this week.
This was some of the most fun I've had hosting trivia, the teams were fully energized and committed and the rounds were so, so fun. Especially a Super Mario round, perfect for Mar10.
As a plumber once said: "Let's-a Go!"
