QUIZ RECAP

The irony of "silent trivia" is that everyone in TGI Fridays was going crazy over the Raptors/Warriors game! It was insanely exciting (as every sports game the Quizmaster is forced to watch should be), and the lounge kept getting more and more packed. So big shout out to all my King Trivia players for their patience with mis-ordered rounds; in BFWBF's case, the willingness to sit on the other side of the restaurant; and in Master Debators' case, the willingness to not be seated together.

Only four teams dared to double down, and only one was successful! Both Party of One and Mr. Poopybutthole screwed up on their Hirschfeld caricatures, but Mr. Poopybutthole came back with an American holiday double-down. Party of One, on the other hand, also blew his Great Wall of China and international borders, so he really was just here for the beer and the good company. Master Debaters also blew Rounds 4 and 7, and weren't confident enough in a Hirschfeld double-down, which may have cost them a gift card.

Let the Wookie Win and Meeseeks and Destroy had another great night, taking their time and scoring high in most rounds. They could have doubled down on a couple rounds, but it was evident that slow and steady was the best strategy for going home with gift cards tonight.

And should out to Melissa for winning a free appetizer/dessert coupon for putting her chipmunk cheeks to good use! She won an unexpectedly exciting game of "Chubby Bunny," and to be honest, guys, the Quizmaster lost count after seven marshmallows. The sticky nails and drooly mouth was all worth it! WUT DAT MOUF DOOO!!!
