I just realized why I love hosting trivia at the Backdoor Bakery Cafe so much. It's the aroma. Cookies, cakes, and other things baked. The air is filled with the glorious aromas of all good things that scream out "LOVE!"
Of course, that love takes a back seat to competitive intensity for two hours every Wednesday evening. And so it was last night at the BDB when Shaina Maidelas dominated the scoring and ran away with a 70-point win. Well done, Maidelas!
