Special night tonight, as I celebrated hosting my 100th quiz at DUDES' BREWERY! Twenty teams came out to play, and the competition was extreme! To celebrate quiz 100, I offered the winning team a bonus prize of tickets to the extreme park of Magic Mountain!
DaNile, as always, had a sizable lead after 4 rounds, with multiple doubles. In the 5th round, DaNile once again doubled, but missed one...leaving them with a zero for the round and in 2nd place by one point to the team that just won the free pints round...Shelby & The Heartbreakers! Unfortunately, Shelby couldn't keep the magic going and fell behind in the 6th round. Three teams were able to double round 6, putting four teams in contention for the win! DaNile was tied with Jesus Is Coming, Grab A Towel at 52 points. Softball Team had 51 points, and CharDee MacDennis hed 50 points! DaNile knew they had to do and did! With a correct double they won the night and bonus prize! CharDee MacDennis and Jesus is Coming, Grab A Towel ended up in a tie for 2nd, with CharDee MacDennis taking the win!
