When Dirteus, God Of Mud, did a back flip into the swamp and got Persephone's dress all dirty, she didn't immediately call him a jerk face. First, she closed her eyes in quiet disdain. Then, she gave an almost imperceptable smile as she realized her instincts were and always had been correct: Dirteus would make an awful husband. "Sorry," he said, as he stumbled back to shore, "went too fast." "Dirteus?" asked Persephone. "Yes?" answered Dirteus. "What color was Stretch Armstrong's hair?" And Dirteus answered: "The cartoon version or the doll?" And Persephone was like: "What does it matter?" And Dirteus was all: "Well, if you got asked that at a trivia night, you would want to know the difference." And Persephone thought: "You know, I'm never gonna marry this guy, but at least he might be a good trivia host." An exchange like this NEVER happened at the Glendale Tap on King Trivia night.
