QUIZ RECAP

A lively and celebratory evening took place at The Oaks Tavern's Sunday trivia night as Quizmaster Yael invited everyone playing trivia to participate in her birthday festivities. For every Happy Birthday she heard, players were gifted a bite-sized candy bar.

As the game began, each team started off strong, aside from Retirement Home who doubled their first Round only to miss one question resulting in a zero. Momentum for everyone kept up until Round 3 where half the teams teams tried to double, but were mistaken on a Diet Dr. Pepper vs Doctor Pepper 10 matter. After Round 4 it was anyone's game but Gazpacho and Awesome Sauced competed admirably resulting in a near tie. Newcomers Jalape?o Business came in third place behind the regular rivals.

For the Drinking Round teams were invited to send a representative for a game of Musical Chairs in Birthday hats!

Next week trivia returns to regular, non-birthday, shenanigans!
