QUIZ RECAP

We had a rip roaring, wild night of quizzing in Blue Lake. Seven teams rolled in looking to out quiz the competition. Stay Inn Alive, Secret Agent Randy Beans, Meat Mecca, and Natural Blondes are all regular quizzers. Red Hot Trivia Peppers are returning, and The Lakeys and Hazy were new teams joining the club and trying to win some fabulous prizes.

After three rounds we had a tie for first, and a lot of teams all bunched up within just a couple of points. And as per usual, round four separated the people who've watched Parks and Rec from those who haven't. After four rounds, Meat Mecca, Randy Beans, and The Lakeys were in the top three positions, as they knew Nick Offerman.

But the Lakey's stumbled in round 5, checking the double or nothing box and getting one question wrong. Just about everyone had a strong round six, and with one round to go Meat Mecca was in the lead with Randy Beans and the Trivia Peppers in second and third, respectively.

But round seven proved too difficult for our top two teams, and the Red Hot Trivia Peppers turned their knowledge of trivia into the win. Meat Mecca fell to second and Secret Agent Randy Beans tied with the Lakeys for third, but won the tie break and kept third place for themselves.
