Culver City’s Tuesday tradition. Smart people. Good vibes. Fried chicken prizes.

Tonight’s trivia brought ten teams into the heart of Citizens Public Market, where the drinks were cold, the answers were hot, and the final prize was either wine or wings — and the winning team chose chicken. Always chicken.

Over seven rounds, we covered everything from Oprah’s marathon time to Bhutan’s national anthem (“The Thunder Dragon Kingdom,” obviously). Round 2 had teams squinting at Shakespeare scenes like they’d never seen The Tempest before. Round 5 was a slow roll until someone finally yelled “Yellowstone!” and ten other tables groaned in recognition.

Guess Who? gave us a five-clue breadcrumb trail to Demi Moore, and you could hear the shift when “G.I. Jane” hit the air. You either locked it in… or you didn’t.

🏆 FINAL STANDINGS:

🥇 The Phat Earthers – 59 points

Made their move with a massive double in Round 5, locked in first, and walked away with the $50 Go Go Bird gift card like champions. Flat in name, stacked in score.

🥈 Tables – 45 points

Solid game. No drama. No disasters. Just quiet excellence and third-wave iced lattes.

🥉 The Entourage – 44 points

So close to silver, but third never looked so stylish. Good hustle, clean sheet, strong finish.

📚 The Knowledgeable Middle:

Big energy. A couple doubles that didn’t land, but nobody fell apart.

Kumon got zero. But hey, they showed up. And in trivia, showing up is how legends begin.
